Tiyul to Me'arat Hamachpela and Chevron
Continuing the theme of "In the Path of the Avot and Imahot", we followed up last week's trip to Kever Rachel with an inspirational tour of Chevron and Maarat Hamachpeila. Renowned guide Rabbi Simcha Hochbaum led us on a journey through Jewish history—from the days of Avraham and Sarah to today. Marisa Braunstein, of Great Neck noted, "I never realized how few Jews still lived in Chevron and dedicate their lives to keeping it a Jewish city. It was an amazing thing to see."
