Shuk Purim - Carnival

Throughout the month of Adar, we scheduled special shiurim to review some of the themes and halachot of the holiday and to make Purim very meaningful. Many thanks to Rabbi Jason Knapel, Ms. Sheinbein and Rav Rafi Rosenblum for delivering interesting shiurim on various topics during our "Purim Yom Iyun" which took place on Ta'anit Esther. In addition, we all enjoyed a very special shiur about "Simcha and Purim" given by Mr. Michael Wachs, father of our very own Danielle Wachs. Mr. Wachs shared stories and Divrei Torah and the students were truly inspired by his message.

A special thank you to the Wachs family for sponsoring a very special Break – Fast and Purim concert this week featuring "The Borthers of Pey Daled."

One of the highlights of the entire year at Beit Hayeled is the annual "Shuk Purim" carnival. This year's theme was "The Wild West" and you can see all of our cowgirls in the pictures! Our students had an amazing time helping the children get dressed up in their costumes, running the carnival booths, and just having fun together! After the games we enjoyed great food, festive music and simcha dancing.

"The People and Personalities at AMIT" is the theme of our Purim Chagiga which will take place on Sunday night and we are looking forward to more ruach, dancing and a chance to share some very special "Purim Shtick" including the much anticipated AMIT Purim shpeil. On Sunday evening and Monday morning , we will be having our own megillah readings for the AMIT students at Beit Hayeled and a lively seudah and program in the afternoon.

Chag Purim Sameach and Shabbat Shalom!
