Israel Advocacy Trip
This past Thursday, we spent the day seeing the Israeli entrepreneurial spirit firsthand. As part of the Jerusalem U Israeli advocacy class, we visited NU Fashion, a clothing company which uses fashion as a vehicle to advance social issues, and Fourier, a leading company in the field of science education. It was inspiring to see how business leaders in Israel dreamed big, followed through and are making a difference for themselves and the world at large. The underlying theme of the day was experiencing how Herzl's famous saying, "If you will it, it is not a dream" is coming true before our eyes. Israel may be relatively young as a country, but the will and chutzpah of CEO's like the ones we met are making our tiny homeland a world leader in almost every area.
